Adam or Kris??? Who`s The American Idol?

So, Adam Lambert or Kris Allen? 

The glam, diva-ish rocker with the big voice OR the worship leader?

For me, personally, speaking from my point of view as a musician, I would say, “Go go, Adam!!!” Never have I witnessed this kind of singing on the american idol stage before in their total of 8 seasons. His, for me, was simply out of this world. Unsungable, infact by most male singers. No offence to myself. I love the way he goes Aretha Franklin-ish everytime he hits the high notes. Thank God he doesn`t sound like Mariah or Celine or else I would sue. laugh. Anyway, on the big note, he`s the singer I most admired this season and yeah, I am not going to deprive myself of the joy of listening to him sing, just because I know of  his sexual orientation. And please, before you could gasp in horror. Stop the judging right now. No matter how shocked you might be. Maybe you`ve heard of it or not, it doesn`t matter at all. I love his singing and even IF he doesn`t win, he`ll still have loads of supporters to support him all the way. And on this age, winning american idol is not the most essential thing to propell you through your musical journey. Just look at Reuben Studdard. Where is he? Who???? Who????? Exactly. My point. Like what they all say, It is all in THE MUSIC, not your orientation or anything else. It`s about What you could do best, that is in Singing. So in Adam, I can see him changing how the world thinks in time to come. He is going to revolutionize music and the way people think of LGBT. My second point. So can you see what God is doing in this age? Or are you too blind to see? 

If my previous sentence hasn`t got your brain working, think again. The other contestant, Kris Allen is a worship leader at New Life Church in America. See how coincidental this is? God is working through all these if you haven`t noticed it yet by now. I might not like Kris` way of delivering his songs, but I love his charisma and appeal. Not to mention that he is not bad looking himself. At least, he is not pale in comparison with Adam. There`s only one thing that I am cock sure about. I have an unmistakable feeling that he`s going to win a hell loads of votes from the Christian community in America. And I am not even doubting that he might even win this competition. And I am sure God will see him through. Heck cares if he doesn`t win. I can already envision him writing Christian worship songs and God is going to work through him. To touch you and me and the rest of the world. See how this American Idol show has the potential power to influence the world and our minds? Unlike our Singapore Idol which produced nothing less than a … no offense though. It`s a wake up call from me. I believe Singapore deserves a revamp. A revamp from it`s hopeful contestants. This season`s Singapore Idol, I do hope to see quality and more originality. I see your heads nodding in agreement with me like doggies on a car`s dashboard. 

So once again, back to the vote.

And my mum just bought two Chicken soup for the Christian soul and I am so reading them tonite. Tommorow is another eggciting day. We`re going to check out the repainting and redecorating works at Ang Mo Kio. SIP never sounds this fun!! Thank God for the extra day off today where I can enjoy my day well. Really lovin it each day, really..;)

And I was quite touched that you know…(can`t say it here. have to learn to be more wary with words esp here where tens flock every single day). You rock my world. Jesus, your faithful love endureth forever!!
